There are 27 bones in the human hand and whether it's in the preparation of materials, the casting process, the minor sculpting, or the moment when my hands present a cast to its model... it always comes back to the hands: "Your hands, made by my hands."

My name is Tatum Brydges; I am a second generation hand-caster living and creating in Reno, Nevada.

I grew up watching my mom, a self-taught caster, cast the big life moments for the people in our small hometown; moments like celebrating newlyweds, commemorating new life, or memorializing the life of someone who may soon be passing. As I watched these special moments get frozen in time, I knew that one day I wanted to be a part of the craft that could capture a moment, and save it forever.
